Our Team

Michael Matteson

Michael Matteson has been a mergers and acquisitions specialist since 1982, focusing on selling privately held manufacturing, distribution, and service businesses to facilitate the best outcome for their owners, their employees, and the new management team.

As Chairman of our Board of Advisors, he is a valued resource. He shares a wisdom and empathy gained through diverse experiences as a business owner, having been a principal and CEO of a material systems design and manufacturing company, as well as the owner and CEO of an electronics manufacturing business supplying communication systems and electronic sub-assemblies directly to OEMs.

Michael’s financial and operational background also includes several years with Xerox in senior level financial and marketing management positions.

Michael is passionate about “making a difference in the world” through his business and community activities.  He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.

Patricia Brown

Patricia Brown has been a sales and marketing executive and consultant for 37 years; for the past twenty-two years she has also provided services germane to the M&A process.

For our mergers & acquisitions clients, she is actively involved in every phase of an engagement: the development of our clients’ Confidential Business Profile, all marketing functions unique to each assignment, and in the collection and flow of all information to assure the successful execution of each business transaction.

Patricia also serves our clients in value creation as an outsourced sales and marketing executive, providing expertise in strategic planning and in the development and execution of sound commercial processes and operations. 

One of Patricia’s greatest strengths is her resourcefulness and delight in initiating, developing, and nurturing relationships. She brings a high degree of energy, enthusiasm, and optimism to every assignment.

Patricia earned a BS in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and has completed graduate studies toward an MS in Education at Canisius College.

Audra Bartlett

Audra Bartlett joined Integrated Business Ventures, offering a unique perspective to our clients as a former business owner.  She began her career with the challenge of starting and running her own bakery, serving wholesale food and beverage clients in the Ithaca area.  Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, she knew first-hand, and then embraced, the tenacity necessary to run a successful company.  Having created, grown, and then transitioned out of this business with the intention to develop her natural proclivity toward personal development, Audra shifted her path toward building her consultative skills, becoming adept as a residential and commercial realtor and business coach.

Audra’s natural curiosity drives her unique strength in asking questions, listening carefully, and reflecting upon our clients’ stories – to understand and empathize with them –  whether their desire is to expand the business through acquisition or to sell and transition into retirement.  As a resourceful and creative “hunter” Audra adds to our unique value in bringing the right third party into a deal, whether our clients wish to acquire or sell a business.  True to the Integrated Business Ventures team, she leaves no stone of possibility unturned in the process of getting a deal to close. 

Audra earned a BS in AT Marketing and Business from Kansas State University and is a certified life and business coach.
